New Space!

In honor of this fantastic Fall weather, we've given one of our new spaces at Madison Markets a little Fall Face Lift! The colors in this space definitely make me think of fall, with rich mahogany, the deep orange glaze of the bowl pictured below and the hearty caramel color of French pine.

The Fall season is upon us and it's time to find a few Perfect Pieces for this wonderful season. As you're gearing up for entertaining over the Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas seasons, take a stock of what you have, and what you need to make sure you're ready!

Wouldn't that basket be perfect filled with Pumpkins? Fill it with holly and berries for Christmas!

The French settle under the painting of boats would be an easy way to add a little extra seating to your dining room or living space. Add a few decorative pillows and it is ready for any occasion!

This unique corner cupboard, with a stunning rounded back and splendid details, will hold your Holiday china with ease!

This table is perfect for a breakfast nook or a small dining room. The round shape and rich color are perfect both for Fall and year round! And there is no better centerpiece for your dining room table, or entry way, than this large glazed bowl.

Every Fall table needs a Blue Willow platter, and if you don't have a bamboo table, then you're missing out! Bamboo tables add a sort of elegance and contrast without breaking the bank.

Stop by Madison Markets this week and check out our new inventory. You never know when you might stumble upon that perfect piece!

'Tis the Season for Tables

'Tis the season for tables...and we have got some perfect tables for your holiday dinners!

The tables pictured below are English-made Wake Tables. The original Wake Table was an Irish design. In our latest shipment, we purchased several wake tables in different sizes and woods, hence the color differences. Depending on the size, these beautiful tables can be perfect for your small family gathering or your exuberant holiday dinner party!

McIntosh Cottage Antiques is also featuring a new line of tables. The tables below are farm tables constructed out of salvaged wood. They range in size and color with painted or stained bases. The tops of these tables are natural, waxed wood and would be perfect in a large dining room or small breakfast room. Any of these would be the perfect addition to your home.

The best part about any of these perfect pieces, is that they will serve you well, long after the holiday season comes to an end! For more information about these pieces, or finding you Perfect Piece, please contact Elizabeth Sheehan at mcintoshcottageantiques@gmail.com.
